DMS3000
DMS3000 sound stores are based on industry standard MP3 compression. Audio data is stored on SD memory cards and can be recorded using any PC equipped with a SD card reader. Message playback can be initiated in a number of ways via: Direct Trip inputs, RS485 commands, or Command file selection.

Trip inputs.
In decimal mode eight messages can be directly selected. In binary mode up to 250 messages can be accessed.
Trip levels.
The inputs can be individually configured as active high or active low.
One shot.
Each input can be individually configured with one shot option which prevents a message repeating if the trip line is active at the end of a message.
Interrupt mode.
With this option set, a currently playing message can be interrupted by another message.
Priority mode.
With this option set, a currently playing message can be interrupted by another message provided the message number is lower than the one already playing.
Continue mode.
This option allows the interrupted message (first selected) to continue playing after the interrupting message has finished. The original message will fade back in. This option is useful if you are playing a long background track and need to make an emergency announcement and then continue playing the original soundtrack from where it left off.
RS485 control.
This input allows complete control of the DMS3000 from a computer or control system. It is possible to connect up to 32 sound stores to one port on the control system. The RS485 controls functions : message select, play, stop, pause, volume, bass, treble, balance, and others.
Command files.
With a command file, it is possible to write a simple text file to automatically play a sequence of messages with time delays before messages and to be able to program different volume and tone settings for each message. This file is accessed via the trip inputs as normal but the command file will then select which operations to perform.
Audio output.
There are two line level unbalanced outputs capable of delivering up to +3dB into 600 Ohms.
LCD Display.
The DMS3000 has the ability to interface directly with a standard 2 line by 16 character display to give information to the user such as message name and number and status information. (standard on 1U case models)
